GTAS Beginner's Handgun Shooting Course – Practical Shooting (Part 2 of 2)
This practical shooting course is Part 2 of the GTAS Beginner's Handgun Shooting Course and is conducted at the firearm range. Students will apply the fundamentals and skills learned during Part 1 through live-fire exercises.
Firearm & Ammunition Requirements
Students must bring:
A handgun suitable for the course
At least 100 rounds of ammunition
Don't own a handgun? No problem. GTAS provides FREE rental handguns for students completing the practical shooting portion of the course.
Students who need to use a GTAS handgun must notify GTAS before the scheduled range date so that a firearm can be reserved. There is no rental charge for the GTAS handgun.
Students using a GTAS handgun may purchase the appropriate ammunition at the firearm range.
Range Fees & Equipment
The student is responsible for all firearm range fees.
The range fee includes:
Hearing protection
Eye protection
One B-27 target
Rescheduling Policy
Students who need to reschedule must provide GTAS with at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled range session.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled range session may result in additional fees to reschedule the practical shooting portion of the course.
Refund Policy
All course fees are non-refundable.
Please arrive on time and prepared with the required equipment and ammunition to ensure a safe and productive training experience.
